There is a new member of HP Pavilion family on the way; Pavilion Power has been just announced. In the basic configuration, the laptop contains Intel Core i5-7300HQ, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and 1TB hard disk drive with the speed of 7200 RPM. However, the most remarkable thing about this basic configuration that it already contains NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 with 2GB dedicated video memory and a 15,6-inch IPS-screen with resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels. It has been announced only on US markets yet, but it should appear in the UK soon. This laptop with above-mentioned specification goes under a very modest price tag of $950. You can plan your finances in advance and see how much you can get for your current laptop.

 

The top configuration of the same device comes with more powerful CPU, Intel Core i7-7700HQ, 16GB of memory, and a combination of two-drive storage, 2TB hard disk drive and 256GB solid state drive. The GPU stays the same, however, the screen is upgradable to 4K resolution.

 

The rest of specifications are following: Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n/ac, HDMI output, SD-card reader, and a USB Type-C port. As the manufacturer promise, battery life for Full HD model reaches 10,5 hours, while for 4K model it is 8,5 hours. And it all runs Windows 10 Home or Pro version.
