Today, Apple is holding an event which is rumoured to announce the new iPad 6 (or iPad Air 2), the iPad mini 3 and the iPad pro. All in time for Christmas (we see what you’re doing Apple).

The iPad 6 is rumoured to not only be much slimmer and lighter than the previous iPads but also to be the fasted iPad yet. However, the screen is said to appear like plastic due to the new ‘flex’.

Now for the iPad mini; as there have been leaked photos of the new iPad mini it seems it has a Touch ID fingerprint scanner (Like the iPhone 5s. 6 and 6 plus).

Another rumoured announcement is the iPad pro, with a gigantic new 12.9 inch screen. Although, some extreme rumours are that it is to be a hybrid tablet.

The latest rumour suggests that Apple is working on a chip called A8X (a high performance version than the A8 which is used in the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, which would presumably make it faster than the iPad 6 as well.  This however is one of the less believed rumours.
